Our Community Hubs & Playgroups, Choc’n’Chat, Bub and Us will continue supporting families by using online platforms.

  • Parenting Programs

3 programs are available online during Term 3

  • Early Childhood Mentoring Project (ITAV)

This program is now operating with Centres.

Enrich

  • Family Work and Counselling

Our family support workers are engaging online and will continue to work with families using a variety of telephone calls, texts and online platforms as required.

  • Play Therapy, Art and Expressive Therapies

Our expressive Therapists are working online and will continue to be as adaptive and flexible in collaborating with children and families we work with.

Essentials

We are OPEN

~ Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am–12:30pm / 1:30pm-4:00pm;  and

~ Fridays 9:30am–12:30pm ONLY

  • Drop-In

Our staff will continue to support vulnerable individuals and families in line with Government restrictions and observing social distancing and hygiene requirements including maintaining 1.5metres from all people at all times, and cleaning hand regularly.

A phone consultation for all Essentials including emergency relief, bills and financial assistance, pharmacy and food vouchers is required prior to coming to the service.

  • Food Drives

Our monthly food drive at Supa IGA Blaxland is cancelled for the safety of our volunteers and community.

  • Donations

Financial support to our Essentials program, is needed more than ever before, as it provides us with the opportunity to purchase specific essential items which are sometimes unavailable at one Supermarket as we continue support our clients.

Grocery items are able to be donated directly via the red bin behind the registers at Supa IGA Blaxland or to our office at Blaxland (please phone ahead prior to donating to directly to our office).

Recovery Support Service

  • Step by Step

Our Team continue to be here to walk alongside residents living Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and Lithgow who have been affected by the recent bushfires and floods, supporting your recovery step by step.

Our Steppers are here to connect with residents via phone, video chat, email, SMS messenger, courier pigeon and various online platforms.

We will be open to take your calls, Monday to Saturday from 9am-6pm, if you just want to have a chat or feel a bit more connected.

  • Well Being Team

Our Wellbeing team continue to provide mental health support across the Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and Lithgow areas to those who have been affected by recent bushfires and floods.  The team will connect with residents via agreed face to face protocols, phone, or online platforms.
