Gateway's parenting programs offer a safe, non-judgemental, respectful and supportive environment where you are encouraged to share your thoughts and ideas, and to learn from other experiencing similar challenges. Participating in a parenting program is an effective way to gain the confidence, feel less isolated and help find new solutions to challenges that arise throughout your parenting journey.
Gateway's parenting programs are run by trained facilitators. Our facilitators provide information, create discussion, allow for self-reflection, goal setting and learning new skills. You will be given the opportunity to experience a positive, practical approach that builds on strengths within yourself and in your relationships.
Circle of Security Parenting
7 week program for parents and carers of children 0-5 years. Parents will learn how to identify their children’s emotional needs and respond to their behaviours in ways which result in greater resilience, better relationships, improved self-esteem and enhanced school readiness..
No Scaredy Cats
3 week program for parents and carers of children 2-12 years. Parents and carers will learn three fundamental perspectives to understand how anxiety develops, how to offset its progress and take practical steps to build resilience.
Tuning In To Kids
5 week program that shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence where you learn how to help your child manage their emotions by learning how to calm down when upset or angry, making and keeping friends and better concentration at school for children 2-8 yrs.

1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching
3 week program explores a down-to-earth, child-friendly and effective discipline approach that encourages good behaviour for children 2-12 yrs.
Bringing Up Great Kids (BUGK)
Relationship and reflective practices are the heart of this program. Parents and carers of 0-12 year olds have the opportunity to identify the important messages they want to convey to their children and understand the messages that children communicate to their parents and carers. Parents and carers aim to discover how to overcome some of the obstacles that are getting in the way of being the kind of parent or carer they would like to be. Five 2 hour sessions
BUGK in the First 1000 Days
6 week program for expectant and new parents to begin their parenting journey whilst exploring brain development during foetus growth and its influence on children's thoughts and feelings. Suitable for parents of 0-2 year olds.
